Kristin Leung brings over two decades of expertise in movement, fitness, and wellness. A seasoned RYT 500 yoga instructor, Kristin specializes in vinyasa, yoga freestyle, and yoga fusion, integrating breath and movement to help participants build a stronger mind-body connection. Her extensive training includes aerial yoga, SUP yoga, yoga for cancer, and chair yoga, alongside certifications in Strength and Conditioning, mat Pilates, and group exercise. Her holistic approach to wellness encompasses physical, emotional, and mental health, grounded in her diverse background in dance, athletics, and science.

Kristin’s teaching philosophy is profoundly shaped by her work with cancer survivors, emphasizing the therapeutic potential of yoga. She is the co-founder of REVIVE: Support for Cancer Recovery, committed to empowering participants through inclusive, engaging classes that foster a deep understanding of their bodies and minds. In addition to her yoga and wellness practice, Kristin leverages her 20 years of experience as a science educator to enrich her workshops, helping participants grasp the “why” and “how” of movement.

Kristin’s expertise in anatomy and body mechanics enables her to create fluid movement patterns that promote physical awareness and a deeper connection to the body. Additionally, she is a yoga and social-emotional development instructor at State College Friends School, where she integrates yogic philosophy into her lessons, teaching children the benefits of the eight limbs of yoga to foster mindfulness, emotional regulation, and compassion.
