Hawah is an author, poet, educator, community organizer, non-profit leader, and yogi. He is  co-founder and former Executive Director of One Common Unity, editor of “The Poetry of Yoga,” book anthology, and lead producer of the award-winning “Fly By Light” documentary film. For 20 years, he has been teaching yoga, mindfulness, social-emotional literacy, conflict transformation, the healing arts, and trauma-informed care to all types of students, from diverse demographics, ranging from the Washington Post, law firms, yoga studios, public schools, international festivals, and youth recreation centers and prisons.
