A multi genre guitarist born and raised in the DMV area, Chris began his musical journey in Southern Maryland playing in various bands until he ended up in Baltimore where he toured the country with the Cajun band “The Crawdaddies.” After moving to Asheville, North Carolina, he was a founding member of the band Hustle Souls where for 10 years they developed a signature sound blending Retro-Soul, Brass Band Funk, and Americana (and even played at Flowjam several times). Over the course of his career, Chris has shared the stage with an eclectic range of artists, including Kofi Burbridge and Ashes and Arrows, showcasing his versatility and passion for collaboration. With years of experience as a performing musician, Chris brings invaluable insight into representing the festival’s vision and crafting a lineup that aligns with its mission of fostering connection and healing through music.
