ABOUT
Miss Moon is an energetic band formed by Miranda Judd and Brenden Caffey in 2017 where the two came together at the University of Maryland, inspired by their love of performing, to create the beginnings of Miss Moon. The band has changed members throughout the years and currently has a new, fun sound propelled by James Baldassano on the crazy keys, Lex Lehr on bass and Patrick Aquilina on drums! Together they are inspired by their love of making interesting, yet dance-able music. They are inspired by 90s rock, folk, contemporary pop and jazz and love to synthesize interesting genre meshes.
The band is currently based in Central Maryland, with the main focuses for performances being D.C. and Baltimore (and everywhere in between).
Miss Moon has two recent singles out, both recorded at Miranda and Brenden’s home, where the two have put together a high-quality recording space. The first single of 2024 was “Go Baby,” written by Miranda Judd.
Nic Rappolla, owner of Rappolla Entertainment, had this to say on the new tune:
“The song is competing with top music streaming globally with interesting changes. Cursive singing has become an intriguing pop cultural style. Miranda makes the song stand out with her range, lyrics, and harmonies.”
Most recently, Miss Moon released their song “Blurry“, written by James Baldassano and now available on all streaming services.
